Westport Weekend

Finally, some time for craziness and mayhem. We all needed it before the baby/wedding season starts and everyone is secluded to their own plans. We decided to go to Westport, a super-cute little beach city. There really is not much to do there, but it was nice just to see everyone. We headed out and followed the craziest directions I have ever read. Here's a thought, Just a thought. If you're going to give directions to a location 100 miles away...exit numbers would be nice, not to mention having the directions in order. We were blindly following this persons dirctions to who knows where. Once we finally go there the fun began. We played endless amounts of card games. The next morning we saw the little town area. Jed bought a kite which we flew later. That was soo much fun and now I have an excuse to get him to actually go to a park with me. I bought oh the most delicious taffy, I'm still eating it. Later we went and saw the local Ocean Spray cranberry bogs. We pulled up and didn't realize these were in their growing stage. We all expected to find the large pools like you see on tv. Later Jed bought some oysters to BBQ. They were stinking enormous! Finally we ate dinner, we drank and were merry. I loved it. If you ever get a chance to go, it's a nice place to relax, there's not much to do but it's sweet.
