Silver Falls, Oregon

Jed is probably going to kill me for this, but the story is just so great I must tell it. So, Jed and I decide that we need to go on some sort of adventure. We decided to head to Silver Falls Oregon to hike around the woods and see the beautiful waterfalls. Well the days roll buy and Jed swears "The weather will be fine." When we wake up, the sun is nowhere to be found. The weather will be fine soon turns to "It'll burn off". We go to the store to get some food. Sandwhiches, crackers, cheese, salami, cherries. All the makings of a great picnic. So we hop in our car with grins on our faces and head to the hills. We drive and drive...and drive. Needless to say we eventually found the park just as it began to rain. By this time, I cannot stop laughing and soo it spreads to Jed. We sat there, freezing in my car, waiting out the rain, in hysterical laughter. The day was wonderful. We had so much fun tromping around in the forest. The smell of the rain mixed with the mud of the earth. There is no better smell in the world. When you add a great person to hold your hand on the trails, the day could not get better.
